You’ve come to the right place
We hire great people to work with, and we are glad you found us. As a team, we draw on and support each other, and have learned that you can't have a great place to work without exceptionally great people. We place a strong focus on high performance, and know that we can only get there by continually growing our skillsets. We hope you're the type of person who will want to grow with us and help us grow. We are always looking for engaging, driven, and innovative individuals with a passion for excellence. By definition, "exceptional" doesn't fit inside the box (or corporate job description); if you don't find an open position that fits you, but you think you would be a great fit for our company, please fill our general interest form.
Why Here?
We try exceptionally hard to make DrySci the greatest place to work. If being a part of the "We" in that sentence excites you, then we think you would like it here.
Our founders wanted a launchpad to support innovation and commercialize their greatest ideas. They believed that using the corporate structure as a vehicle to support and improve the careers/lives/drive of its workforce would create the ideal work environment while also creating a company that could improve our world's research. Corporations are what you make them to be, and ours includes unique governance structures to include our workforce in leadership. We pride ourselves on our ability to communicate within our teams and across our company.
Most of us are ambitious, eager to expand beyond the job description and take on new challenges. But we also pride ourselves on being skilled communicators, adding clarity and structure to the tasks we assign or take on. self aware of their value and faults, and appreciation for diverse ideas.
"DrySci is the best place to work ever; I give it three thumbs up! I never imagined I could work at a place quite like DrySci. Great colleagues, a motivating company mission, and a supportive & fun the work environment. Humans will love it here!"
Why you?
Do I need to custom tailor my resume for the position?
No. Please don't squash yourself into the role; send us the resume that makes you look your best. We hire people, not job descriptions.
Should I write a cover letter?
The application has a place for you to write 1-3 sentences to catch anything the resume might miss. We don't recommend writing more.
Anything else I should include?
We work off data and evidence at DrySci, so examples of past work you are excited about always get us energized. Past applicants have included all sorts of stuff, including links to their GitHub, Engineering Portfolios, personal websites, and/or photos of class projects.
What are your assessment interviews like?
We are seeking to learn as much about you as possible, with particular attention towards the following points.
- How skilled you are in the areas you claim to understand (how good are you when your at your best)?
- What do these terms mean to you, and how do they shape your interactions with the world? Focus, Willingness to Innovate, Productivity, Determination, Kindness, Empathy, Concept of Fairness.
First round is usually a short chat. Second round typically consists of the candidate giving a "show and tell" presentation to our team, followed by a few one-on-one interviews.
