Dry Scientific Incorporated, a California Company, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates (referred to as "DrySci", "We", "Us", “Our”) provide internet accessible software platforms (the “Platforms”) that distribute information, downloadable content, methods, and services (collectively, the “Content”) that may use web “cookies” and other related devices to understand and document how you use our Platforms. This policy is provided to inform you how we use cookies and to meet legal obligations.

Plain and Simple

This policy outlines standard use of cookies and tracking technology as commonly practiced on many websites.

Cookies and General Context

HyperText Transfer Protocol Cookies, (also called HTTP cookies, web cookies, Internet cookies, browser cookies, or simply “cookies”) are small blocks of data that contains information that work like ID cards do in the real world. They are created by a web server (on our side), and provided for download to a user (your side) browsing a website. The web browser that you are using is most often configured to automatically save the cookies and send them back to the web server whenever the user visits the website. We also may use pixel tags, browser analysis tools, server logs, or web beacons. All of these technologies are slightly different, but they all play similar role in enabling websites to authenticate, remember, track, or understand how you interact with our services.

Because you (and your computer) are being the active participant in downloading, storing, and returning the cookies, you are in control of how your computer interacts with our website. Although each browser is different, you can configure your browser to control what cookies if any are saved, and to notify you when a cookie is sent.

We also may use several other technologies that behave in a similar manner to cookies. For example; pixel tags and web beacons are tiny graphic images or content placed on website pages or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed a specific action. When you access these pages or open or click an email, the pixel tags and web beacons generates a notice of that action. These tools allow us to measure response to our communications and improve our web pages and promotions.

Cookie types we use

We use cookies to preform several functions. There are some cookies that are used to perform specific essential website functions. This may include using the “remember me” login checkbox, or registering a computer as a specific device in our system. Some cookies we use for measuring performance or functionality, such as highlighting or displaying the correct geographical content on our information pages, or including in a but report. These cookies are not essential and could be disabled if necessary. There are some cookies that are used to collect analytics and customization information. These cookies facility our development and analytics of our products, websites, and content.

We collect many different types of information from cookies and other technologies. For example, we collect information from the device you use to access our website, your operating system type, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone where your device is located. Our server logs also record the Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to the device you use to connect to the Internet. An IP address is a unique number that devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. We may also collect information about the website you were visiting before you came to we and the website you visit after you leave our site.

In many cases, the information we collect using cookies and other tools is only used in a non-identifiable way, without reference to Personal Data. For example, we use information we collect about website users to optimize our websites and to understand website traffic patterns. In some cases, we do associate the information we collect using cookies and other technology with your Personal Data. This Privacy Statement applies to the information when we associate it with your Personal Data.

We use “first party” and “second party” cookies, and for some functionality may enable “third party” cookies on our Platforms. We, DrySci, are the first party. We partner with some organizations to assist us in collecting some information, such as google. They are the second party, and their collection of data is primarily for our own use. Some apps and services on our platform may be enabled by third party tools that include their own cookies, these are third party cookies.
